Jennifer Massey

Children's Church Leader

I gave my heart to Jesus when I was six years old. I was raised in church and have often thought about the life I might have had had it not been for giving my life to Christ at an early age. I was “drafted” in to children’s work at the age of 15, but it wasn’t until attending a children’s conference at the age of 19 that I felt a calling to children’s ministries. I was in the evening service and a young girl was singing a special and I felt the Lord’s presence so clearly and knew the work I was doing with children was a calling. I finished college with a degree in education but instead of teaching I returned to school to pursue a degree in design. I believe the Lord provided the opportunity to use my degree in education in service to him.

Our goal at Abundant Grace is to equip children with a foundational faith so they will know who God is and how He can work in their lives. We want each child to develop a deep and personal relationship with Christ so that when they ask Jesus to come into their hearts and make their profession of faith it will be for eternity. And as they come to know Christ they will become disciples who will share the gospel and lead others to Christ.

Wanda Parker

Executive Assistant

I have served the Lord most of my life in one way or another beginning with music, playing the piano at 12 for the Jr. department assembly before Sunday school, then to children's choirs, teaching Sunday School for children and adults, church secretary at my church in Jackson, MS, greeting, newsletter editor. I have never been able to say "no" to the Lord. He always has something new that will bring Him Glory and  bless me in the process. When I became a part of AGM, my hunger to learn more about Jesus grew. I read the Bible in 5 versions, some twice. There was just something about this church that made me feel free to worship and serve Him with "gusto." My present position as Executive Assistant to my Pastor is my all-time favorite. We, as a team, along with his wife, Wendy and kids, Olivia, Eli and Boone and our wonderful church family and the Lord as our center focus, AGM is a great church where there is something for everyone.
